SEATED LEG CURL MACHINE
This is a machine for the strengthening of the ischiocrural muscles through knee flexion with postural rotation. Utilising progressive auxotonic resistance and employing the Canali “Safety Back” system, it reduces the tension on the back.

The lifting motion of this machine allows the user to produce the resistant load without using added weights, reducing the risk of over exertion and injury.
The same lifting movement allows full support of the spinal column with the added stabilization from the abdominal muscles during the training session. The machine can be used to train one limb at a time, ideal for elite athletes, the deconditioned market of for injury rehabilitation.
The Auxotonic resistance, or the progressive load resistance, allows you to train at optimum levels throughout the entire range of movement without decreasing the training effect in the most favourable execution angles. The rotation of the machine engages the abdominal muscles reducing the overloading action on the back and hyperlordosis (or excessive curvature of the lower back) by producing a smooth action through the flexor muscles of the knee.
